Wayfairโs Design System
October 2018 - September 2021
Implemented the Wayfair Homebase Design System in 2020, moving 160+ designers from Sketch into Figma, improving their workflow, and supporting 200+ products.
Collaborated with engineering and content strategists and incorporated accessibility requirements into the Design System to have one cohesive system for all of Wayfair.
Teams that utilized the system included Storefront (customer-facing), Enterprise B2B, and warehousing tools.
Whatโs Homebase?
Homebase is Wayfair's Design System, a collection of reusable components, styles, and patterns that can be assembled to build any number of experiences and applications across the Waytair universe.
Sadly, it cannot be publicly shared due to the awesomeness of the website, but if you happen to have the right secret password, you could learn more about the work behind the scenes of the site. ๐ง
